Moist Walnut and Raisin Banana Bread
This delectable Moist Walnut and Raisin Banana Bread is a delicious twist on the classic banana bread. Ingredients:
– 3 ripe bananas, mashed
– 1/3 cup melted butter
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– Pinch of salt
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
– 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
3. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and gently stir in. Add the flour and mix until just incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
5. Fold in the chopped walnuts and raisins, ensuring an even distribution throughout the batter.
6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
