Ingredients:
– 12 oz. egg noodles
– 1 lb. ground beef
– 1 medium onion, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (10.5 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
– 1 cup sour cream
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tbsp. olive oil
– 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until well combined. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and gently toss to coat the noodles with the beef and sauce mixture.
7. Transfer the noodle mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Evenly spread the mixture in the dish.
8. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the noodle mixture.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley if desired.
