– 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tsp dried rosemary)
– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparing the Frikadeller:
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, minced onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, nutmeg (if using), ground mustard, and chopped parsley. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well-blended.
2. With your hands, shape the mixture into small balls, slightly flattened. This helps them cook evenly.
3. In a large frying pan, heat the butter or oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are cooked through and browned nicely. Remove the meatballs from the pan and set them aside.

Making the Herb Gravy:
1. In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes until you have a smooth roux and it turns a light golden brown.

4. Once the mixture begins to thicken, add the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let the gravy simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing it to blend the flavors.

Bringing It All Together:
1. Add the meatballs back into the pan with the gravy. Let them simmer together for about 5 minutes so the frikadeller can absorb some of the delicious gravy.
